all that i can see?

Wowzers. It's been a looong time since I revisited this bad boy. While I'm not sad that I took a year off of my sporadic blogging (I do have to confess that most of this was done for a school project...), I do miss being able to document my frame of mind. There's something exciting about preserving a thought process that I found endearing.

But a big thanks to those of you that have said that you enjoy my opinionated/music obsessed/self-indulgent fodder. I hope we can start some real conversations up...

So quick recap from the most unstable year I've had yet... Graduated from college shortly after this last post. Got hired doing things that I loved in Nashville working with some amazing people who continue to inspire me as mentors today. Got an incredible opportunity to spend two weeks in NYC and LA with one of my favorite people in the universe that led to truly insightful musical conversations, a handful of drunken nights, and a job opportunity that literally fell from the sunny skies when I had no intent of looking up. Packed up everything that meant anything, and spent three days on the open road trying to come to terms with the life-changing decision I had just made for myself. And now I've been an LA resident for a little over 8 months... The lifestyle change was difficult and there was a lot of second guessing... but in all honesty, I never could have painted a more perfect career starter than where I am now.

So now you know... Can't promise that these are going to be life updates, but they will be little glimpses into what I'm experiencing.
